The MAGIC SWITCHBOX (Magic mode) is a 7 1/2" X 6" X 1 1/4" wooden box consisting of 4 different color bulbs and 4 switches with color matching switchcaps. Each bulb of one color is directly facing the switchcap of the same color at the begining of the magic trick. Each switch lights the corresponding colored bulb. Each of the 4 bulbs (and/or) switchcaps are exchangable so they can be moved from a position to any other.

The MAGIC trick is that no matter what the positions of the colored bulbs or switchcaps are, the switch fitted with a particular colored cap always lights the matching colored bulb.

You can find on the web similar tricks like: ''The Magic switchboard'' and a french version ''La Boîte à lampes'' that are much more expensive and seem to be less flexible.

Our MAGIC SWITCHBOX is password protected so the magician can let the audience play with it. In the locked mode(if the password is not entered), each switch can only light its facing bulb (even if not of the same color).

The strengh of the MAGIC SWITCHBOX is that it is built around a famous Microcontroler chip making it extremely flexible so it is almost impossible to understand how it works.

No external power is required, it is powered by 3 AA batteries (Not included).


AND NOW: Introducing the MAGIC SWITCHBOX II

When activited the MAGIC SWITCHBOX II is a dual mode MAGIC trick (both protected by their own password). It is also full user programmable (all the tricks variables and the passwords can be changed by the magician) and the changes are stored in the non volatile memory. A return to the factory default has also been added to solve the problem if the magician forgets his passwords.

You still can purchase a regular MAGIC SWITCHBOX (the non activated version) at the same old price and purchase an activation code (password) later* for a few dollars more to upgrade to the MAGIC SWITCHBOX II or purchase the activated version right at the beginning.
